How has being a Philosophy graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?
"I absolutely loved my Philosophy major. The biggest impact of the experience was its refinement of my ability to distill complex matters into concise premises/logical patterns and my persuasive writing skills. It also taught me that I love humanities which I didn’t growing up."
What advice would you give students in Duke's Philosophy programs?
"Enjoy the classroom and focus less on the homework. Life doesn’t afford you many opportunities to sit in a room of ~15 intellectually engaged individuals where the professors largely treat you as peers in a dialogue."
